Location

Trawsfynydd Holiday Village is situated some 14 miles south-east of Porthmadog and 10 miles north of Dolgellau on the east side of the A470.  It is 2 miles south of Trawsfynydd near the hamlet of Bronaber. The holiday village is well established with many mature trees and excellent views over the countryside and mountains.  There is a launderette and small shop on the site and a public house within walking distance.

Accommodation

The cabin is approached from the parking area along a gravel path and a couple of steps up to the decking and entrance. The veranda has been enclosed with double-glazed windows and double patio doors and has been opened out to form a larger open plan lounge/kitchen-diner

Lounge/Kitchen-Diner

5.19m x 4.67m (longest sides) The lounge/kitchen-diner is an open plan L-shaped area utilizing the enclosed and opened out veranda. There is a 3-seater sofa with matching reclining armchair, a wall mounted TV, DVD & Sky box, a log effect electric fire and fitted carpet. Access to the broom cupboard and meters is off the lounge.

The kitchen has modern fitted white cupboards with black splashback. It has a fitted oven, hob, extractor, microwave, fridge and stainless-steel sink unit with Strom-electrical water heating tap. To the front there is a wall mounted heater, a wicker chair and a table & 4 chairs with some views out to the Rhinog Mountains.

Bathroom

It has a large built in shower with white backboards and an electric shower, a modern white WC, a washbasin in vanity unit with a Strom-electrical water heating tap, white splashback and vanity light, a heated towel rail and laminate flooring.

Bedrooms 

Bedroom 1 (1st left) 3.15m x 2.16m. Large double bedroom with double bed, small table, several bedside shelves & and a lamp, a wall mounted electric heater and carpet to match the lounge.
Bedroom 2 (2nd Left) 1.98m x 2.16m. Fitted bunk beds, wardrobe, bedside shelves and light, a wall mounted electric heater and carpet to match the lounge.

Externally

There is a large 4.4m x 2.2m decking along the front of the cabin with a picnic table and some views towards the Rhinog Mountains across other cabins. It has a small grass area with hedges to the front, far side and the rear and a small garden on the car park side with a heather and shrub planted area. The grassy parking area is within the plot and a gravelled path leads to cabin. 

Services

None of the services have been tested by THL but the chalet is connected to the site’s water and drainage system and to mains electricity. 

Tenure

Leasehold: A new 50 year lease was issued 05/12/2014. The cabin can be used for holiday purposes only and only between 1st December and 31st October each year. Current site fees can be obtained from reception.
