Externally it also has a newly built large decking, which has good views towards the Rhinog Mountains across other cabins, a small grass area with hedges to the front and the gravelled parking area is within the plot directly beside the cabin.

Location

Trawsfynydd Holiday Village is situated some 14 miles south-east of Porthmadog and 10 miles north of Dolgellau on the east side of the A470. It is 2 miles south of Trawsfynydd near the hamlet of Bronaber. The holiday village is well established with many mature trees and excellent views over the countryside and mountains. There is a launderette and small shop on the site and a public house within walking distance.

Accommodation

The cabin is accessed from the parking area directly beside the cabin and via 3 steps up to the decking and entrance. The veranda has just been enclosed with double glazed sliding patio doors and windows and has been opened out to create a large open plan lounge/kitchen-diner.

Lounge/Kitchen-Diner

5.23m x 4.67m to the longest sides. The Lounge/Kitchen-diner is an open plan l-shaped room, it has a new storage heater and laminate flooring and has good views up to the Rhinog Mountains. There is access to the broom cupboard and meters off the lounge.

The kitchen has brand new cupboards and worktops with a fitted oven, hob, extractor, glass splash-back and stainless-steel sink unit with a 10l Zip Water heater underneath, serving both the kitchen sink and bathroom basin. There is also a space for a freestanding fridge under the worktop

Bathroom

The bathroom has just been opened out and the cupboard has been reduced in size to make a slightly larger space. It has been clad with tongue and groove cladding, a brand-new WC, basin, vanity unit, heated towel rail, extractor fan and corner shower cubicle with new Redring Expressions electric shower unit.

Services

None of the services have been tested by THL but the log cabin is connected to the site’s water and drainage system and to mains electricity.

Tenure

Leasehold: A new 50 year lease will be issued. The cabin can be used for holiday purposes only and only between 1st December and 31st October. Current site fees can be obtained from reception.
