Cabin 208 is a detached and furnished 2-bedroom leasehold log cabin located just south of the play area. The cabin has a good size grassy plot with a mature hedge to three sides, an L-shaped decking to the front and some storage beneath the cabin. The cabin also has UPVC double glazed windows throughout and a gravelled parking space for 2 cars within the plot.

Location

Trawsfynydd Holiday Village is situated some 14 miles south-east of Porthmadog and 10 miles north of Dolgellau on the east side of the A470.  It is 2 miles south of Trawsfynydd near the hamlet of Bronaber. The holiday village is well established with many mature trees and excellent views over the countryside and mountains.  There is a launderette and small shop on the site and a public house within walking distance.

Accommodation

The cabin is accessed from the parking space via several steps up to the decking and the front of the cabin.

Enclosed Veranda

1.41m x 2.80m. The veranda has been enclosed with UPVC double glazed door and windows. On one side there is a dining table with 2 benches and it has laminate flooring. The other side has been opened out and forms part of the kitchen. There are views of play area and mountains from the dining and kitchen windows.

Lounge

3.95m x 3.05m. The lounge has a 2 matching brown leather sofas, 3 coffee tables, TV cabinet with TV & sky box, night storage heater and free standing electric heater and has laminate flooring. There are views to the play area from the lounge window. Access to broom cupboard with electric meters is from the lounge. 

Kitchen

2.00m x 3.40m. The kitchen has fitted base and wall units with freestanding fridge, freezer and cooker, single drainer sink unit with an Ariston water heater in the cupboard below, a microwave and lino flooring. There are some views to the mountains from the front window.

Bathroom

The bathroom has a shower with 2 glass and 2 tiled walls and Galaxy electric shower, there is a white WC and white washbasin in a vanity unit which houses an Ariston electric water heater, a chrome heated towel rail and lino flooring.

Bedrooms

Bedroom 1 (right) 2.05m x 2.96m with double bed and two small wardrobes plus overhead cupboard at the head of the bed, bedside spotlights, wall mounted electric heater and laminate flooring.

Bedroom 2 (left) 2.05m x 1.95m Freestanding bunk beds, small wardrobe, electric wall mounted heater and laminate flooring.

Externally

The cabin has a good size grassy plot with a mature hedge to three sides, an L-shaped decking to the front (4.9m x x2.4m - longest sides) and some storage beneath the cabin. The cabin also has UPVC double glazed windows throughout and a gravelled parking space for 2 cars within the plot.

Services

None of the services have been tested but it is connected to the site’s water and drainage system and to mains electricity.

Tenure

Leasehold: A new 50 year lease was issued on 17/08/09. The cabin can be used for holiday purposes only and then only between 1st December and 31st October. Current site fees can be obtained from the site office.
