Cabin 233 is a detached and furnished two bedroom leasehold log cabin. The veranda has been enclosed and the cabin benefits from having UPVC windows and door. It has a small grassed area on the approach and a good sized decking area along the front and western side of the cabin with some views of the mountains. Parking for 2 cars is within the plot.

Location

Trawsfynydd Holiday Village is situated some 14 miles south-east of Porthmadog and 10 miles north of Dolgellau on the east side of the A470. It is 2 miles south of Trawsfynydd near the hamlet of Bronaber. The holiday village is well established with many mature trees and excellent views over the countryside and mountains. There is a launderette and small shop on the site and a public house within walking distance.

Accommodation

The cabin is approached from the gravelled car parking area and via 3 steps up to the decking and main door. The cabin has a low energy lighting system installed.

Veranda

The veranda (5.05m x 1.35m) has been enclosed with UPVC double glazed windows and door and has 2 wall lights and varnished wooden floor.

Lounge/Diner

3.94m x 3.05m. There is a 2-seater sofa, coffee table, dining table with corner bench and 4 pine stools, corner cupboard, bookshelf and is carpeted. Access to broom and meter cupboard is from the lounge.

Kitchen

1.93m x 1.91m The kitchen has pine fitted base and wall units with a stainless steel sink unit, a freestanding cooker with extractor hood above, a fridge-freezer, large night storage heater and lino flooring.

Bathroom

The shower cubicle has a glass wall and door, 2 tiled walls and a triton electric shower. The WC and washbasin are white and there are fitted cupboards below and beside the sink housing an electric Heatstore water heater supplying the kitchen and bathroom sinks. There is a heated towel rail and is carpeted.

Bedrooms

Bedroom 1 (right) 2.04m x 2.94m Double bed with fitted cupboards either side and above the headboard, a storage heater and is carpeted.
Bedroom 2 (left) 2.04m x 1.94m. Fitted bunk beds, a freestanding wardrobe, bedside cabinet and is carpeted.

Externally

It has a small grassed area on the approach and a good sized decking area along the front and western side of the cabin (7m x 2.6m and 5.2m x 1.6m). There are some views of the mountains from the decking and the plot has mature hedging to 3 sides and parking for 2 cars within the plot. The cabin benefits from UPVC windows throughout.

Services

None of the services have been tested but the chalet is connected to the site’s water and drainage system and to mains electricity.

Tenure

Leasehold: A new 50 year lease will be issued. The cabin can be used for holiday purposes only and only between 1st December and the 31st October. Current site fees can be obtained from reception.
