Cabin 269 is a detached, fully furnished leasehold log cabin. It is located on the southern edge of the holiday village, has a large L shaped decking area with excellent views to Cadair Idris & the Rhinogs and a lawned garden to the rear. It also benefits from having an enclosed veranda, UPVC double glazed windows & door, a new roof, clad & insulated south and west walls and a parking space within the plot for up to 2 cars.


Trawsfynydd Holiday Village is situated some 14 miles south-east of Porthmadog and 10 miles north of Dolgellau on the east side of the A470.  It is 2 miles south of Trawsfynydd near the hamlet of Bronaber. The holiday village is well established with many mature trees and excellent views over the countryside and mountains. There is a launderette and small shop on the site and a public house within walking distance.


The cabin is accessed directly from the parking area and has several steps up to the decking and entrance. The veranda has been enclosed and half opened out creating a larger kitchen on one side and a storage/seating area at the entrance (2.94m x 1.45m)


3.95m x 3.05m. The lounge has 2 cane chairs, 2 footstools, a nest of 3 coffee tables, fitted book shelves and a corner unit for the TV, a night storage heater plus log effect electric heater and is carpeted.


1.98m x 3.44m The kitchen has white fitted wall and base units, a stainless steel sink unit with Redring power stream water heater, a fitted oven, induction hob, extractor fan, and a freestanding washing machine, tumble dryer, fridge & freezer. There is laminate flooring and south facing windows with views down the valley towards Cadair Idris.


Modern shower cubicle with Redring electric shower, white WC and white washbasin in a vanity unit with a mirrored cabinet above, additional fitted cupboards, a wall mounted heater and chrome heated towel rail and laminate flooring. Access to the meter cupboard is from the bathroom.


Bedroom 1 (right) 2m x 2.95m. Double bed (4’6) with drawers underneath, 2 fitted wall cabinets, 2 chest of drawers and wall mounted electric heater and is carpeted.

The cabin has a large L shaped decking around the cabin (7.6m x 2.5m + 5.1m x 2.4m) with excellent views to Cadair Idris and the Rhinog Mountains. There is a lawned area to the back of the cabin with several flower beds and shrubs, a small storage box and leylandii hedge along the boundary. The gravelled parking area is beside the cabin for up to 2 cars. All windows and the door are UPVC double glazed, the cabin was re-roofed approximately 5 years ago with 50mm insulation added and the south and west walls have been clad and fitted with insulation


None of the services have been tested but the chalet is connected to the site’s water and drainage system and to mains electricity.


Leasehold: A new 50-year lease will be issued upon completion. The cabin can be used for holiday purposes only and only between 1st December and 31st October. Current site fees can be obtained from reception.
