Cabin 76 is a detached and furnished 2-bedroom leasehold log cabin located on the top section of the village and is in excellent condition. The plot has a large lawned area in front of the cabin with hedges on all sides and there is a decked area at the front and rear of the cabin, both with excellent views to the Rhinog Mountains. The cabin also benefits from UPVC double glazed windows throughout and has been re-roofed in 2007. The allocated parking space is in front of the plot.

Location

Trawsfynydd Holiday Village is situated some 14 miles south-east of Porthmadog and 10 miles north of Dolgellau on the east side of the A470.  It is 2 miles south of Trawsfynydd near the hamlet of Bronaber. The holiday village is well established with many mature trees and excellent views over the countryside and mountains.  There is a launderette and small shop on the site and a public house within walking distance.

Accommodation

The cabin is approached from the parking space over the lawn with several steps up to the decking.

Veranda

1.39m x 2.97m. The veranda is enclosed with UPVC double glazed door and windows and has good views west towards the Rhinog Mountains. The entrance side of the veranda has tongue and groove clad walls and has been left as a separate room housing a freezer unit. The other side has been opened out to make a kitchen-diner.

Lounge

3.95m x 3.03m. The lounge has a matching sofa, armchair and footstool, a coffee table, wall mounted TV, DVD player & freesat box, electric oil filled fire, night storage heater and is carpeted. 

Kitchen-Diner

3.4m x 1.9m. The kitchen has modern fitted base and wall units with matching sink unit and a fitted hob, oven, extractor and fridge. In the dining area, the walls are clad in tongue and groove panelling and there is a dining table and 2 chairs with views towards the Rhinog Mountains. This area has laminate flooring.

Bathroom

The walls and ceiling are clad with tongue and groove panels. There is a fitted shower cubicle with Redring electric shower unit, white WC and washbasin in vanity unit with Zip Aquapoint water heater below serving basin and kitchen sink, a wall mounted cupboard, white heated towel rail and laminate flooring.

Bedroom 1 (right) 1.95m x 2.96m with double bed, bedside shelves and lights, freestanding wardrobe, electric panel wall heater and is carpeted.
Bedroom 2 (left) 1.95m x 1.96m with single bed, chest of drawers and is carpeted.

Externally

The plot has a large lawned area in front of the cabin with hedges on 3 sides and there are also hedges to the rear of the cabin too. There is a decked area at the front of the cabin (5.5m x 2.5m) and one to the rear (10.4 m long & varying widths of 3m & 1.1m), both with excellent views to the Rhinog Mountains. The cabin also benefits from UPVC double glazed windows throughout and has been re-roofed in 2007. The allocated parking space is in front of the plot and the electric meter is externally located on the right-hand side of the cabin. 

Services

None of the services have been tested but it is connected to the site’s water and drainage system and to mains electricity.

Tenure

Leasehold: A 50-year lease was issued on the 04/08/06. The cabin can be used for holiday purposes only and only between 1st December and 31st October. Current site fees can be obtained from the site office.
