Cabin 87 is a detached 2-bedroom freehold log cabin in an elevated position close to the shop and reception. It has an enclosed veranda affording good views of the Rhinog Mountain ranges and UPVC windows in the lounge, kitchen, bathroom and bedroom. It further benefits from having been re-roofed and insulated in 2008, the south side has been clad and insulated and all furniture & carpets are new. The cabin has been re-wired and re-plumbed with a new kitchen and bathroom. It has a small concrete plot that is easy to maintain and parking is near to the cabin.

Location

Trawsfynydd Holiday Village is situated some 14 miles south-east of Porthmadog and 10 miles north of Dolgellau on the east side of the A470.  It is 2 miles south of Trawsfynydd near the hamlet of Bronaber. The holiday village is well established with many mature trees and excellent views over the countryside and mountains.  There is a launderette and small shop on the site and a public house within walking distance.

Accommodation

The cabin is approached from the parking area along a short road and via several stone steps and a couple of wooden steps up to the front door. All furniture & carpets are new, the cabin has been re-wired and re-plumbed.

Veranda 

5.15m x 1.45m. The veranda has some wooden and some UPVC double glazed windows and a wooden door. There is a wooden fitted bench, stools, dining table, a freestanding oil filled electric heater on one side and a further table & storage box on the other. There are good views to the Rhinog mountains from here and the flooring is tile effect laminate.

Lounge

4.02m x 3.00m. The lounge has a matching 3-seater, 2-seater and 2 foot stools, several coffee tables, 2 oil filled heaters, a TV and freesat box, fitted electric log effect fire and is carpeted.

Kitchen

1.95m x 1.85m It has newly fitted base and wall units, a circular stainless-steel sink unit with Crownette water heater above, fitted oven, hob and stainless steel splash back and extractor. There is a freestanding fridge-freezer, butchers block and laminate flooring.

Bathroom

Newly fitted circular glass shower cubicle with Mira electric shower, white WC and washbasin fitted in vanity unit with Crownette water heater, mirror & glass shelves above. There are several fitted cupboards including the meter cupboard and a stainless steel heated towel rail.

The majority of the plot is concreted and so is easy to maintain. It has several concrete steps up to the cabin and there are a couple steps up to a small decking area at the front door. There are good views to the Rhinog Mountains from the cabin and it further benefits from UPVC windows in the lounge, kitchen, bathroom and bedroom and has been re-roofed and insulated in 2008 and the south side has been clad and insulated.

None of the services have been tested but it is connected to the site’s water and drainage system and to mains electricity.

Tenure

Freehold and can be only be used between the 1st December & 31st October and for holiday purposes only. Current site fees can be obtained from the site office.
