Cabin 92 is a detached and furnished 2-bedroom leasehold log cabin located on a quiet part of the holiday village on the hill above the reception. It has an enclosed veranda with some views to the Rhinog Mountains and benefits from having double glazed windows. The plot is a good size with grass areas to the front and side, gravel parking space directly behind the cabin and mature trees and hedging around it. Planning permission has been granted to install a larger decking to the front of the cabin.

Location

Trawsfynydd Holiday Village is situated some 14 miles south-east of Porthmadog and 10 miles north of Dolgellau on the east side of the A470.  It is 2 miles south of Trawsfynydd near the hamlet of Bronaber. The holiday village is well established with many mature trees and excellent views over the countryside and mountains.  There is a launderette and small shop on the site and a public house within walking distance.

Accommodation

The cabin is approached along a wide gravel path from the parking space directly behind the cabin and has one step up to the small platform and entrance door.

Enclosed Veranda

The veranda has been enclosed with wooden double-glazed windows and door and has a dining table and four chairs, a bench seat, freestanding oil filled heater and lino flooring.

Lounge

3.92m x 3.0m. The lounge has a two-seater sofa, 2 armchairs, a coffee table, TV, DVD, sky box, book shelf unit, wall mounted electric panel heater, night storage heater and is carpeted. Access to broom cupboard with electric meters is from the lounge. 

Kitchen

1.95m x 1.90m. The kitchen has cream fitted base and wall units, a stainless steel sink unit with Crownette water heater above, a freestanding cooker and fridge and lino flooring. 

Bathroom

A modern shower cubicle with Redring electric shower, white WC and washbasin with Redring water heater above, vanity light and shaver point, heated towel rail and lino flooring.

Bedrooms

Bedroom 1 (right) 1.94m x 2.94m with double bed, freestanding wardrobe, bedside tables, electric heater and is carpeted.

Externally

The plot is a good size with grass areas to the front and side with small BBQ area, gravel parking space directly behind the cabin and mature trees and hedging around it. It currently has a small platform at the entrance, but planning permission has been granted to install a larger decking to the front of the cabin. It also benefits from having UPVC double glazed windows to all windows apart from in the veranda, which are wooden double glazed and has just been re-painted.

Services

None of the services have been tested but it is connected to the site’s water and drainage system and to mains electricity.

Tenure

Leasehold: A new 50-year lease started on the 10/08/17. The cabin can be used for holiday purposes only and only between the 1st December and 31st October. Current site fees can be obtained from reception.
