Trawsfynydd Log Cabin Holiday Village is a self catering Holiday Village. We have a small convenience store on site that sells a selection of groceries, frozen foods and alcohol and is open 9am-5pm Monday - Saturday and from 9.30am on Sunday. Additionally the Rhiw Goch Inn is on the outskirts of the holiday village (see below). There are other Pubs, Restaurants and Supermarkets in the area, however you will need a car to reach them.
The Rhiw Goch Inn is situated on the outskirts of the holiday village, just 5 minutes walk from the cabins. The Inn was built in 1610 and from the Boar War through the 2 World Wars until 1954 served as an Officer's Mess for the Royal Artillery. It now offers freehouse and cask ales in the public and lounge bars and the restaurant serves snacks and home-made meals in the large eating areas. There is a Tesco, Lidl and Aldi in Porthmadog, which is 14 miles away and approx. 25 mins by car and in Dolgellau there is a Eurospar and CO-OP which is 10 miles/20 mins by car.
