Supermarkets & Eating Out

Trawsfynydd Holiday Village is a self catering Log Cabin Holiday Village. We have a small convenience store on site selling a small selection of groceries, frozen foods and alcohol, which is open 9am-5pm Monday - Saturday and from 9.30am on Sunday. The Rhiw Goch Inn on the outskirts of the holiday village can be reached by foot, but to get to other pubs, restaurants and supermarkets a car is needed.

The Rhiw Goch Inn

The Rhiw Goch Inn is not run or owned by us, but is on the outskirts of the holiday village is just 5 minutes walk from the cabins. The Inn was built in 1610 and from the Boar War through the 2 World Wars until 1954 served as an Officer's Mess for the Royal Artillery. It now serves local beer, large helpings of food and also offers a take away service. For larger groups they can also provide breakfasts, but this does need to be pre-arranged with the pub directly. The Sunday Carvery is very popular and so it is recommended to book a table. They also have a beer garden and a function room that can be used for private parties, meetings and social gatherings, if pre-arranged. To contact the Rhiw Goch Inn call 01766 540374.
